Due to the nature of an unrelease game little or no information may be known about it hence the lack of Halo Wars Cheats. After the game is released submissions will pick up a little.
Ensemble Studios has quite a history of cheats in their games and even though cheats in an online environment would be totally unrealistic and would wreck gameplay, using cheats offline could be a fun alternative to the normal tone of gameplay.

Usually the cheat codes for previous games created by ensemble have been witty and often reference popular culture, with the advance of gaming as a major form entertainment popular culture has thrived and it would give ensemble a great opportunity to entertain gamers with funny cheats.
A cheat doesn't always have to be in the form of a code or sequence of words. For example, upon completing Halo Wars a special menu could be unlocked with abilities that could enhance and extend gameplay. It would add a unique and extra "replay" factor to Halo Wars similar to Halo 3's "skull menu".
If cheat codes were incorporated into Halo Wars in the correct manner it would be a good thing, I mean imagine having the ability to take control over all the wildlife in a game. Ensemble has done it before and I hope they do it again.
